euROBIN project celebrates the International Girls in ICT Day 👧💻
In 2010, the member countries of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), decided to create this event as a result of the huge gender gap that has been evident over the years.
👩💻This year's theme is ‘Leadership’ to highlight the need for strong female role models science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) careers.
📌 According to the UN, By 2050, 75% of jobs will be related to STEM fields. Yet today, women hold just 22% of AI jobs, to name but one.
At euROBIN project, we support gender balance and giving women equal opportunities to access STEM careers and jobs.
