Robotics week is almost here and euROBIN is finalising all the details.
It will be the event of the year because it will join the international conference IEEE RAS HUMANOIDS and the 1st euROBIN Coopetition.
From Friday 22nd to Thursday 28th November 2024, in Nancy, France, at the Prouvé Congress Centre, we will be able to see humanoid robots, quadrupeds, drones, manipulator arms, articulated mobile platforms and discover the latest international technological advances in robotics and artificial intelligence.
The event will be attended by research institutes, universities, industrialists, startups from all over the world and more than 500 professionals from the sector. They will all take part in conferences, round tables, demonstrations, robot competitions..... There will even be guided tours, scientific performances and programming workshops for the general public and school classes.
¡More than 50 robots, installed on 3000 m2!
We share with you registration information for workshops for the general public and robotics workshops for children organised by the Centre Inria de l'Université de Lorraine: https://www.inria.fr/ES/semaine-internationale-robotique-nancy-novembre-2024
And at that event, from 25 to 28 November, our eurobin week and the 1st euROBIN Coopetition will take place.
The 1st euROBIN Coopetition will offer participants three main areas of research, each associated with a specific challenge.
- The first challenge is industrial and aims to manipulate objects using a robotic arm. This challenge could be illustrated by manipulating a voltmeter to measure the voltage in a box.
- The second challenge is called ‘outdoor’. It aims to test the capabilities of drones and legged robots in an outdoor environment.
- Finally, the last challenge aims to develop robots capable of interacting in domestic environments. This will be done by achieving goals such as opening a fridge or placing an object in a drawer.
